Colchester Cougar Youth Football History

The Colchester Cougars were created in 1973 to promote mental and physical fitness of boys and girls by conducting contests and, thus, developing character and good sportsmanship.

Colchester Youth Football has gone through many changes over the years. In 1996 we joined the Northern Connecticut Football League (NCFL). The league now consists of the following 12 teams: Colchester, Coventry, Cromwell, Enfield, Ellington, Portland, Putnam, RHAM, Stafford, Tolland, Tritown and Windsor Locks.
